Dear Families,

The Summer Rising application is now open. March 3-27: Apply in MySchools.NYC. P.S. 164 will be at 20K048 The Mapleton School, located at 6015 18th Ave., Brooklyn, New York

Important Application Guidelines
- List only the programs you truly want your child to attend.
- Please rank them in the order of your genuine preference.
- The admissions process is not first‑come, first‑served.
- All applications submitted by Friday, March 27, will be reviewed equally, regardless of when they were submitted during the application window.
- You will receive a confirmation email after you submit your application. This email will serve as proof that your application was successfully received.
Application Instructions

Step 1: Log In
- If you don’t have a MySchools account, email Lrodriguez135@schools.nyc.gov.
- If you already have an account, log in.
- Forgot your password? You can reset it.
- Need help? Email Lrodriguez135@schools.nyc.gov
Step 2: Learn About Summer Rising
- Go to MySchools.nyc to look at Summer Rising programs.
- When you log in, click “Get Started” next to Summer Rising.
- You will see a list of all programs.
- Your child’s school program will be at the top.
- If your child has a 12‑month IEP, their program may already be chosen.
Step 3: Apply (Starting March 3, 2026)

You can apply in three ways:
1. Online at MySchools.nyc — Don’t forget to click “Submit”!
2. Through your child’s parent coordinator.
3. At a Family Welcome Center
